Maybe I'm spoiled in this area as black 22's pop up all the time for very reasonable if not Curb Alerts for free.
These guys have seen their entire life in the sun and it shows.  For me, they aren't worth the asking price.
But then again, I'm not in the market for a 22'er to cook on either.

I love the "bottom vent covers are missing" comment.  lol
.

.
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

I think, because they are apparently moving, that they will accept a much lower price.  Since those are not 'must have kettles' I would offer 30-40. and explain that I am offering that much because I don't care about all the 'extras'....

MBH are cool no matter what, so if you are just getting in to Webers it would be neat to have one.  It has a flat twist pan .... It is cool!

I agree that it's priced high. While the MBH is cool, by the time you replace the grates and ashsweeper on the OTS you could have bought a new one.

I've watched portland CL for acouple years now. You can get good colored kettles and cheap but u gotta act fast. And amazing deals on gas grills. Just wait for something cool. Unless you have no grill then get on it!

Those have been listed for 3 weeks. The good deals rarely last 3 days. Check often or download a CL app.

Kaz, I wish deals near me last 3 days!

Yup, MBH=Metal Bowl Handles. The 18.5" has a bent metal strip handle whereas the 22.5" have the nicer contoured ones. The old kettles have a metal handled lid (MHL) which are nice too.

From a distance, that daisy wheeler black looks to be anywhere from '75-'77 (small lid vent tab/large bowl tabs). A close up of the vent would help narrow it down.

Harlanr3,

Whatever you do avoid the lake Oswego guy with the same background.

He's had the same grills listed for 2 years, not sure what his deal is, but the same grills same price are always there. There have been numerous threads here about the guy.

I would try to work the price, if he dropped it grab them up. Then sell the 18 to offset the purchase. But if you don't have an 18 and the price was right your getting two for a good deal. I'd pick up a black MHB if it showed up since I don't have one yet..

This is wisdom :)

This is one I am actively seeking in my area. It's blue. It's a mastertouch.
