Many thanks to Terry for helping me secure my 1st Red Head Weber. Iv'e wanted one since
Al Bundy grilled on his roof with a Red Weber to get away from Peg!!! From what I can tell
it must be around a 68. The vent says Patent Pending. Maybe you guys have some insight.
All I need to do now is find some vintage wheels for it!! I thought about purchasing a whole
lower half kit for it, what do you guys think is that sacrilege?
P.S. Cooking on a 3 wheeler is a PITA if you want to adjust mid cook, this grill will be awesome
for smoking or grilling. The only caveat is to set her up correct from the start. I have to say Weber
did the right thing by going to the One Touch system, I can truly understand the benefits now. Not to
say I don't love this one just different. i will have to learn the ins and outs of cooking on it.
This was the first cook on it, a meatloaf. Crazy as it sounds it came out better on the Red Weber. Wife
said it was the best one yet. Apple Wood Smoked Meat Loaf. Moist, Juicy and very flavorful. The Red Weber
has lifted my grilling abilities above mere mortals.
