Beef kabobs
« on: August 19, 2012, 04:28:20 PM »
On another site, one of the posters always starts with a drink so I thought I would here.  I started with two finders of Maker's Mark.  8)

Then, I marinaded a VERY lean grass fed strip steak in

3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/3 cup olive oil

...for 5 hours, then built some kabobs with mushrooms, pineapple, and yellow and red bell peppers for lunch tomorrow.  My taste test indicates a good day tomorrow.

From beginning to end, awesome!  Love that glass too!  Never seen them, where did you get it?

The wife picked it up for a Christmas present last year.  Probably got it online and paid WAY too much...but they are pretty cool.
