Ranch grate handles

Made some handles outta stainless U bolts, bent slightly in a vice so they can be near the outer edge without fouling the lid. Makes life a hell of a lot easier. Put some big penny washers underneath and they're solid

Haha, you are way too kind mate but I appreciate it! I am a mere beginner compared to most on my grilling, but I do love tinkering and making stuff to make mine and anyone else's life easier!

Nice modification!  I think lifting that grate and finding a place for it is the most difficult part of operating a Ranch.....

Are you used to the clang sound of closing the lid yet?  It used to bother me, but now I kinda like it lol....

Hearing the clang sound is one of favourite parts about closing any Weber lid
