I was gifted this little baby in need of some attention. Decided to spray it canary yellow, black inside the bowl and lid, and made some little oak handles for it. Got some steel rod coming to make a triangle and a tea bag tray which hopefully suits it as an ash pan

Very nice work Tommie!  I've got a couple of those here in my office.  A yellow one would be very cool to have!

Cheers

Tommie

Thanks guys. They're so cool! Haven't come across any more here, otherwise I'd do a Glen blue too as I have the perfect colour match!

That turned out great! You nailed the yellow.
Like Greg, I have the red and the black, but a yellow would be awesome.

If you could find more, I'm sure you could sell them but I imagine shipping costs would kill that idea.  :P

Thanks!! I (and I'm sure a lot of us) get told that a lot about selling, but I really struggle to sell things once I've put my spin on them! Also, tinkering time is very much an "out of hours" thing for me, evenings really when the kids are in bed, the house becomes pretty chaotic with bits and bobs when I'm doing so, I'm not sure she'd allow it full time

Triangles in situ, need to epoxy it all together once kids are asleep!

This turned out to be a little small, the next size up is way too big. Back on the hunt!

Understood and I don't blame you a bit for getting attached.
I love the triangle - and beside the picnic bench condiment holder is the perfect spot for it. :)

That is too cool... you sir are very talented!  Love the triangle and ash pan addition....

Tommie

Thanks all! Recommend doing it, very therapeutic and not costly. feel free to use ideas, would be cool to see some different colours!

Impressive!
But, now I want to leave mine outside and develop some patina!  ;D  ;)
Make them laugh, and while their mouths are open, pour the truth in.
