Hi all, this is a little tail of how I changed my BBQ after 20 years.
As you can see it was a little sad (photo2), after cleaning up the BBQ and waiting months for a new ash catch pan it started to look a little better once I added a thermometer. (photo3)
I extended the single leg but was not happy with the result, I then found 1" tubing and started working on replacing the legs with the wheels first (photo4), I was pleased with making it 36 inches. , that worked well, but the 3rd leg is at a different angle, so cutting it to match the height of the other legs made it stick out far too much.
So I used a 22mm pipe bender to make a slight bend in the pipe, and put on some rubber feet.
I then had the height that I wanted. (photos 6 and 7)
And am happy with the results.
