3 wheeler lid, handle falling off.
« on: July 31, 2023, 06:11:43 PM »
So I have a mid 90s 3 wheeler and the handle on the lid is about to fall off. I am wondering if the newer taco shell type handles can be made to fit, The issue has been one of rust right where the handle meets the lid.... I figure remove it now. use something like POR15 or a high temp version of it, mark and drill, and use stainless fasteners and of course washers on the bottom / inside of the lid...

Has anyone done this to one of these lids to keep them going?
