Today marks 30 days, one month from the Chicago Weber Kettle meetup

Here is what to expect, Kettles, Kettles, and more Kettles.

We will be holding a raffle for the yellow 70th anniversary edition.
We will also have other prizes to raffle off. Prizes are still to be determined

Each person who comes that has an account on Wide World of Weber or the Weber Kettle Club gets a ticket for the grand prize.

If you come and cook something to share with the group you get 5 raffle tickets. 
For every kettle that you bring to display you get a raffle ticket. Excluding Smokey Joes.
*Note - These tickets cannot be used for the grand prize.

Raffle tickets will also be offered for sale for the grand prize or prizes on the table.  Final rules for these events are still in the works.

Mike some of us are going to the Backyard Barbeque Store on Friday morning.

At a minimum bring yourself, if you want to cook something, great, if you want to bring kettles, great.  If not, just come and have a good time.

Noon and after has been the usual start time but if you need more time to cook something that shouldn't be a problem.

Update on prizes we will be raffling a 70th anniversary kettle Yellow as the grand prize.

Table prizes include a custom SJG or CGA from IPE, we will GBS waffle maker, a custom handle set from Zavod Laboratories, 22 kettle grate with cast iron inserts and possibly others.

Each member gets a ticket for the grand prize and is able to purchase more.
For table prizes you get 1 ticket for each kettle you bring, you get 5 tickets if you make something to share and you are able to purchase tickets, the table items will have buckets so you can put tickets in for items that you prefer.

At this point,  I'm less than 50/50.  Depends if I can tie some work in the area leading to that weekend.  Sounds like a great time as usual for the Chicago meetup.
