Thanks again everybody, it was a fun project - and having a spare lid made it possible. Here's a parting shot with all the grills tucked away for the night.

Great work, cool project!

I did a similar deal with a rechargeable lantern because my shack doesn't have 120v power. I used a Limited Edition lid and painted the inside white. Evidently I didn't do a good job of surface prep because the paint flaked off over the winter. I need to redo that soon.
