Rookie from AL
« on: July 19, 2021, 04:55:31 PM »
Howdy guys. Long time user on many forums. Been grilling many years, but recently picked up my first (and second and third) kettle.

I’ve been using my WSM 18 for a couple years and modded it for grilling, decided I needed a real grill, other than my smoky joe. I’ve now got a standard performer, 18 kettle with master touch ash tray upgrade, and a rusted out 18 that’ll soon be a fire pit. Also have the smoky joe and a charcoal go anywhere. Pretty heavy user of a blackstone griddle as well.

I look forward to learning here on the forum.

Welcome, and that's quite a nice little collection of cookers. I've got 4 myself, two Crimson 22 premiums, a slate blue 22 performer deluxe, and a black jumbo Joe! (I never use the jumbo anymore)

Thanks guys! I’m trying to branch my experiences out. I just did my first chuck roast yesterday. It came out great.
