Thighs on Blue - He's Home Now

Just brought him back from my folks place.




But, before all that ... One last cook in the country.
22 thighs on ... Loaded up the charcoal in one of my newly fabricated baskets.
Then put 4-5 thighs at a time over the charcoal to finish them off.








Sorry, no plated pics ... everyone was famished by then.

Great photos! Chicken thighs are an addiction with me. I make them almost weekly. Sweet looking blue too!

I was thinking that, too! What would be the best wood color for the blue ... dark, light, in-between? Thanks.
