‘64-‘68 Traveler
« on: February 28, 2021, 05:58:36 AM »
I picked the grill up last summer and finally got around to cleaning it up. I believe it to be somewhere between ‘64-‘68. The thumbscrews, even though the were rusty turned right out of the sockets with finger pressure.
It’s getting some gray fade to it so I gave it the PAM spray technique and it really brought the color back.
Plus I scored an 80’s rolled edge ash pan!!

Do all the legs have holes for the triangle? I pickup up a WW 18 with 3 straight legs but since it was not a thumbscrew and all the legs had holes in them I assumed it was put together by a past kettler and not an actual traveler.

Yes they all have holes.  I picked up a PP traveler( well at least I think it was a traveler) a few years back that all three legs had holes in also. Maybe @Craig or @harris92  can provide more insight.
