Thermoworks Silicone Probe Spools
« on: February 15, 2021, 02:47:19 PM »
I purchased Silicone Probe Spools from Thermoworks at the end of December. They were backordered and arrived last week.

Probe Spools are great, no more tangled probe wires. Well worth the money.

Spools measure  4” diameter x 3/4” thick.

My only complaint is the magnet is not strong enough to hold a probe and 3’ extension. The spool will physically accept them both,  but will slowly slide down the side of the refrigerator.  It’s not a big deal, I’ll just buy a few more spools for the 3’ extensions.

Has anybody else bought the thermoworks Silicone Probe Spools?

I’ve been lusting over these spools for the past couple weeks, but they don’t offer them in orange like all my other Thermoworks products.  I’ll definitely order a set soon.

Thanks for the review.

Those look really cool!  I use sandwich bags and put them in the lid of my cam cases that house my thermometer units.  I can see these being really useful.

Having to wrap probes is a pain in the ass. Why the hell can't some one invent a retractable probe????

I would try, but I'm too lazy.
