A few less "members"

There's been a big wave of spam recently and today I spent some time digging in and flushing out the turd-ball spammers.

I removed over 40,000 user accounts that were all active and created for the sole purpose of sharing *really shitty* porn links and fake passport opportunities.

I'm sure I haven't caught them all, but please continue to hit "Alert Moderator" when you see something.

Additionally, mr.cpho has joined the team of moderators to help deal with spam and the occasional ass-whipping that needs to happen.

Thanks, @Troy. I know this has come up in the past but is there now a way to prevent/filter spam posts based on the number of links or foreign language characters?

Thanks Troy.  My right index finger has developed a callus over the last couple of weeks from removing spam.  40,000?  Holy Crap that's a lot of turds.

I appreciate all the hard work that you and the moderators have undertaken.  I’m torn though...50% of the reason I’m here is for Russian porn, and the viruses associated with those links[emoji23]
