Rust Stains on Porcelain

Hello. I know this had probably been addressed but I cannot find a thread. What is the safest way to remove rust stains from porcelain? Will CLR work?
Thanks in advance.

My go to method of removing rust stains is using #0000 steel wool. It’s what I used on my Ambassador to remove the rust stains. Take a look at this thread of the before and after photos. You have to be careful using rust removing gels as they can etch porcelain.
