SmokeFire peppers
« on: October 13, 2020, 03:25:45 PM »
Did my first pepper tray cook on the SmokeFire. I’ve did a huge 400 pepper cook on it before, but not in pepper trays. The wife says best I’ve ever done. Not to be conceited, but they are rather good. Pepper skin well done lighter smoke than the kettle.

Mixture=3 cp pulled pork, 8 oz cream cheese, 6 oz smoked cheddar. Mix well, and stuff in cored out peppers. I usually only do 1/2 a piece of bacon. This time I did a whole strip per pepper. Much better! Did smoke boost for 1.5 hours then 375 for about 30 minutes.

I would have no problem eating those right of the smokefire no plate needed, maybe just a beer
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Looks fantastic!  I need to try mixing pork in. I’ve only done cream cheese and cheddar.

You can mix just about any finely shredded meat. I’ve used chicken before too.
