Any deals out there on grates?
« on: October 12, 2020, 01:06:57 AM »
Has anyone seen any deals?   I have not seen a one yet.
Cooking grates still at $30 and $15 for coal grates everywhere
I search. Even the knock-offs on Amazon are still carrying hefty
prices.

Check your local Target. I was looking at Halloween costumes and noticed all of the Weber stuff was marked down.

The knock off stainless ones are actually pretty nice, I have a set for my Akorn. I’ll be getting a set for the 22 when the time comes.

There are not a whole lot of Target stores in my area.  The closest is about 15 miles, then a couple of others 25 miles or so.
I do not shop there very often, but I have never seen a single Weber product in of their stores here in KC.
I am looking to buy about 20 sets, so even a few $$ less per set would be healthy savings.  Stainless is not an option ..
these will be going on resto's  ... if the next buyer wants stainless ... they can buy them.

Why not call a Weber dealer then. 20 is enough to ask for a good discount.

Really?  I hadn't considered that.
I have to admit, I am quite confused on Weber pricing.
It is my understanding there is NO discount.
