My butts usually take 8-9 hours, how did you get to 16 hours?

I used the SmokeFire. One side cooks a little faster than the other. It has a smoke boost setting. I had it set on smokeboost for about 3.5 hours. One butt got done about 2 hours before the other. I let reach one rest for an hour after taking them off. Before shredding. So from putting on the grill to shredding, it was 16 hours. I also kept the temp at about 225-250 most of the time. Wrapped in foil when they reached 150
