We're vacation in St George Island, Florida.
Apalachicola Bay is known for wild caught oysters, but has been shut down by the state.
Oysters are still available, they’re farm raised locally or sourced out of state from Texas or New Jersey.
Two dozen New Jersey oysters were purchased at a local fish market. They’re flown in daily.
Oysters were steamed on a Weber kettle for lunch. After being shucked they were topped with horseradish and Crystals hot sauce. Washed down with a cold beer.
After lunch a rack of ribs was loaded in the grill, along with jalapeno poppers and bbq beans.
Good lunch and dinner at the beach. Small beach fire after dinner.
Cheers
