Finally a kettle owner again
« on: September 14, 2020, 05:02:12 PM »
It’s been 13 years since I owned a kettle. I moved to a Genesis 13 years ago for convenience and added a WSM 4 years ago.

Today, my “new” Master Touch arrived.  I say “new” because I got it as an open box from Amazon for $65 off.  I got it for $155 because the box was beat up.  It’s pristine but lighter than I remember a kettle weighing.

Anyway glad to be back.

Welcome to the wkc from Gainesville, Florida
Congrats on your new 22” master touch kettle. That’s a good deal for $155 too

Nice!  The MT is great for the added height.

I like the way you think, however, I am sure my wife would kill me.

After the 10th grill they tend to relax a little bit and just laugh about it with friends and coworkers.  :D

Yes, agree with 10+, once that threshold is reached they know it’s a lost cause. In fact, they might even have hopped on board by then and start encouraging you to go for those elusive kettles 🤩
