I measured at lunch and these would be perfect also for the Weber Fireplace lids.

Okay folks, that is enough to make it worth while. The volume helps drive the price down for manufacturing. I’ll explore the best method to sell be it Venmo, PayPal, etsy and let you all know in the for sale area of the forum in the upcoming week.  Leadtime will be determined once I have the first wave of purchasers intended and get the order made.

Not sure if the existing shield would fit, but these are pretty awesome.

The shield/taco does not work with this handle. It is intended to delete the new rounded taco handle, or add in place of a torn off handle on an old lid. The hole pattern fits to the new kettle lids which is the same distance as the spot welds on the older kettle lids with welded on handle.

No worries. These look great so I am still down for 6 or 7.  If I really need a shield I don't think it would be too hard to make one similar to what they had on some older 26ers. It wasn't so taco in shape with the sides bent slightly up.  Much better look than the taco.
