if your grill is pre-99, you'll need to either slightly modify the leg sockets to hold the new ring (easy, use a dremel tool to cut slots in the sockets) or use hose clamps to attach the ring to the leg sockets.

Thanks Troy! Yes, it would have to be modified. Checked it out while at the hardware store.

oh! if you're using the ash bucket bracket, you probably need the other style of one-touch system - the one with the hex nut and the thumb screw.

or you can upgrade to the newer style of ash bucket/ring.

did you get the H-style one-touch system to fit in there properly with the bracket??
Update, don't need purchase the assembly. Called Weber to see if I could purchase the handle, mailing it out N/C.
