Made myself a Master Touch Premium Diffuser
« on: August 24, 2020, 08:02:05 AM »
So I thought the ring and diffuser for the new  Master Touch Premium looked interesting because it basically leaves the entire grate open for smoking vs the Slow N Sear, which I also own and love. Well I happened to have an extra charcoal ring left from a 22” WSM, which fits perfectly over a 22” kettle’s charcoal ring. So all I really needed was the metal diffuser. So I ordered a 19” and 16” pizza pan off Amazon. I attached them together so the 19” acts as the diffuser and the 16” keeps the unit centered over the charcoal ring. Haven’t tried it yet, but I expect it’ll work very well. Using on my MBH red with daisy wheels, which I just added my new Zav handle to today. Very excited about this setup.

Looks good. Are the pans steel?

My friend Greg (Slowhand BBQ) has recorded a similar setup.  Check out his YT channel.
