Picked up a red Genesis 1000 (1997) yesterday

Very good shape redhead. Original owner bought a new Weber. He had replaced the burners, grates and bars, so they should last a while.

Plan to rehab this winter. Will post more photos when the project starts.

How do you install the fold down side table, I have the metal bar?

It needs one nob, where can I get one?

Which Weber cover fits it?

Any suggestions or comments?

I have been going over the grill, seems like it is in great shape. I discovered it is missing the hinge rod and end bracket for the left hand drop down table. These parts are not no longer stocked anywhere. Any advise where I can find one?

I may have both parts in my stock.
Are you looking for the grey plastic piece that pushes into the tube end or the metal one that bolts through the front of the frame?

Thanks everyone, great response. Another member messaged me and helped out.

When I tear it down, I may need more parts.

Looking forward to posting progress photos.
