So because I was planning to bake cookies on the grill today the wind had to be over 20mph! The plus was I got a nearly full chimney fully lit in about 7 minutes once I got the fire going . The good thing is that the forecast says that the wind will be dying down more and more as the weekend comes but the heat here is supposed to keep going up with a high of around 117 degrees. At least I don't live in Kingman AZ. They may see temps of 127....and that's fahrenheit !!!! I could low and slow at that temperature ! :o I hate the wind.....but it won't stop me from grilling!

Just think: If you were in Kingman, maybe the charcoal would just light itself.

Close! ;D  I cooked last weekend and really didn't have to pre heat the grill to long :o  and it was a tad breezy too!
