I’ve been a huge fan of the Weber Kettle for a long time. Over the years, I have worked to restore / maintain a Performer that I think is from 1995. Recently, I added a probe port so that I could insert a thermometer and begin to smoke with more precision. I’ve done a few briskets and some pork. Previously, I had only smoked turkeys at Thanksgiving.

I own the Slow and Sear and the cast iron insert for searing steaks. Looking forward to doing some pizzas this summer.

Looking to keep learning here and experience the fellowship of others who love the kettle.

Welcome from just south of Chicago, IL!
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.
