Assuming the bolts aren't too rusty, these things come apart pretty readily.  I fit both a 3000 and a Genesis Jr. into a Mazda CX-5.  Taking off the legs and unbolting the lower cross-supports will help tremendously.  I also recommend bringing a garbage bag for the grease trays.
