Lambastrophe
« on: June 21, 2020, 02:48:53 PM »
Well, kind of bumming. Finally scored a blue a few weeks back. It was a pretty kettle even with a major battle scare on the bowl that it had when I acquired it.

Thought I would rechristen with a Father’s Day cook of lamb burgers (one of my favorites).

Unfortunately, I knocked the lid off the bowl while spreading coals with the chimney (don’t do this).

It took a hard fall directly on concrete and I defaced the otherwise perfect lid with three major hickeys.

Truly bumming but otherwise a good cook.

Nice cook, sad lid mishap
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Every kettle has a story. This is one for this kettle now. She still cooks though. Awesome cook.

Thanks folks. The sting has worn off a touch and I like @catskillsmoker ‘s perspective.
