Master - Touch lid question
« on: June 10, 2020, 01:09:58 PM »
Howdy from Virginia, just joined 5pm EDT. Glad to be here.

Youtube videos I've seen "featuring" the Master - Touch kettle, show the lid, when open, leaning in toward the grill while it sits in its bail. Seems I may have heard somebody say Weber has changed that angle on the newer Master - Touch grills so that the lid now sits more perpendicular (more out of the way) to the ground instead of cocked inward.

Went to Lowe's and Home Depot to get a look at one but neither store had one on the floor.

Can anybody answer whether this change had been made?

Many thanks,

I cant speak 100% on new master touches but you can call weber and order a lid bale assembly for new performers and they 100% open wide.
