A Photo Journal of Quarantine Cooking (pic heavy)
« on: June 08, 2020, 09:50:18 PM »
As restaurants and bars are starting to reopen here in Milwaukee, I'm thinking back on the last three months; perhaps the best culinary experience of my 38 years. It's just my wife and I, so the following pictures yielded plenty of leftovers. We also tried to support a local restaurant about once per week. Unfortunately, as life gets back to normal (or whatever the new version is), I don't foresee my schedule allowing these culinary exploits to repeat themselves in a similar manner until retirement, which seems like it might as well be 1,000 years in the future. For the record, I am merely a foodie with a few culinary skills, a few grills, and a very supportive wife who lets me do whatever I want with our food. (She doesn't cook. She burned pasta, yes BURNED PASTA on our second date.) Not all of these meals were prepared on the grill but the majority had at least a component see either the kettle or the WSM.
