Yeah well, I don't like it at all. Sorry to be the unpopular one here and burst your ego.

What? You thought I was serious?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I'm going to guess that this fine kettle was stored in a garage or somewhere covered for 50 plus years. I can't get over how much that red pops in the first picture.

We need to nickname this kettle. I'm thinking Ann-Margaret for being 50 years old and still hot.

Rita Hayworth could work too tho.

I am suddenly proud to say that I was born in Rockford, IL, home of this epic kettle for all of these years!  What an honor.

I can't get over this kettle.  It looks fake its so perfect.  In my opinion it is the best looking kettle I've ever seen. Wish there had been some back story.

It also may be the oldest.....and it restores my faith in the possibility of ancient kettles with NO CHIPS AT ALL !!!!!!

I'm flabbergasted that this grill was found in my city.

X-WOLF - would it be possible for me to see this grill in person? I'd love to check it out and get some nice high res photos.
