Has anyone had any experience with the cast iron grill grates?

Is your question about CI granted in general, or about a specific cast iron grate (or grates)?

I own 3 Craycort grates (18, 22, 26 inch)...all for kettles. Only used the 26 so far and they are GREAT for sear marks and even cooking. Also own an old Charbroil 22 inch CI grate, purchased about 2005-06. It's OK.....not as well designed or of the quality of the Craycorts but it was only 30 bucks. It's a 2 piece design such that the inner portion can be removed and used in an 18 or 18.5 inch grill or smoker.
