Ok so I'm having difficulties getting the picasaweb photo to embed so here is a link unless it worked then I'll edit... >:(

Dude you need to contact Brian for some handles. Nice collection too. Most of us just hope to get one red and copper mist. .

I'm not familiar with Picasa and can't walk you through, but I just grabbed the IMG to post below.

I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Thanks BMan for posting the pic, I appreciate it, Picasa has been killing me.

Stay away from my brownies!!! The one in the front is newer and should restore nicely, only problem is a little rust all the way through next to one of the legs. The browny in the back is old, the handle is held on by a bail of wire as there is 2 large holes all the way through the dome. Got beat up one for free  ;D and the other one for only $15  ::). Can't wait to put the better one back together with a bucket and all new innards. I just need to fix up the rust on the bowl where the legs join and then I'm golden...that's for another post though.

I wanna see more reds!!!

I've been on the hunt for a color 18" to add to the collection. I'd trade anything you see for a decent 18"

Here is my EO. At the time, it was only my 2nd kettle. Couldn't pass it up, as Redheads are hard to come by up here.
Seller said it was only used once, maybe twice. It showed. Didn't take much to make this look good.  ??? ::) ;)

I was also impressed with the color change when it gets heated. Never knew about that. She's my pride and joy.  :o :o ;)

A: When you are not allowed to question it.

Kinda bright.... the '79 can make you see red for days...  :o  That's a good problem to have though.. ;D

And one from a while back when the same red '95 pictured above was wearing an ash can and different handles.

I picked up this patent pending daisy wheel redhead(made between '68-'70 but i like to think she was made in '69) locally last fall on CL.  Here is the state she was in:

Cleaned her up, new legs, wheels, grates, ash catcher, and wood handle

Without handle:

With new handle:

Javahog or Mods, can you fix the misspelled "appreciation" in the subject? It hurts my eyeballs and might make this thread harder to search for in the future.

Now you're in the right thread X Wolf! This kettle could be the centerpiece of any collection. If you do use it, be sure to dress the part and take lots of pics. Keep the coals away from the bowl, and get a premium cover. No outdoor storage either. Congrats on a find any of us would be bragging about for years!

Everything Marty said! Treat it like the Ferrari from Ferris Bueller, (before Cameron went berserk) baby it, rub it with a diaper, know the mileage.. That is a treasure! Thanks for sharing this!
