Needed a wire rack for a Gen3 performer
« on: June 22, 2021, 04:14:46 PM »
I have made some makeshift storage shelves for SSPs and genneys but hadn't found a good solution for the newer performers til now. I got some wire shelving for free (but it's about $10 new anyway). I cut them to length and scuffed em and painted one as is the cut the 2nd one in half leaving the center bar for extra support. I think they worked out great.

Couldn't face them down like the instructions have the actual shelf because the edge touched the axel, but I like them turned up anyway it helps keep things corralled.

Very nice mod.  I think I like that better than the original.

This guy came to me without the shelf or bin. I am about 50/50 on if I like them. I thought about using zip ties through one side of a cheap kitchen trash can but it was only posted for a day so someone liked it as it. [emoji2285][emoji1742]
