Compact Chimney starter - VERY short review

I just use my torch/weed burner. One propane canister lasts forever. I have never used a chimney.

haha.... there is just something I like about lighting charcoal in the chimney burner

Well actually I bought mine to do the weeds that grow between the cement, but found out it worked well on my woodstove and then bbq. What I like about it is that it saves a step. Mine looks like this.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to try a weed burner. But I'm afraid of reenacting Yellowstone with my spruce trees right by the patio..

I just fill my chimney drop it on the performers burner and let her rip.  Sometimes, I add a little newspaper for good measure.

I just used my mini-chimney this morning to light some briquettes for a Minion method fire in my 18.5 WSM. It's also great for lighting some charcoal for the SJ or CGA. I've used the weed burner as well. My son has one but no chimney. It works well, but at some point that propane tank will go empty...
