1950ís ranch kettle!  AKA ďThe Mothership.Ē  Sweet!  Great price too!  Looks as though the legs have had supports added.  Canít tell from the pic if the legs are original with support or some kind of replacements cobbled together.

I searched for the listing & looked at the various pictures before.  Not original legs & appear to be welded on angle iron (if memory serves).  Two of the leg sockets appears to be there (with a portion of leg stuck in one), but one was broken & only partially there.

I'm surprised this is still for sale. Those grates are stainless steel and the grill will look/cook amazingly after a wire brush, new bottom vents, and a coat of Pam.

I thought only the grates for the new ones are stainless & the old ones were steel.  They certainly look rusty in the pics.

While itís super cool, the problem I have with this beast Is thatís is not easily moved.  At 5,5 the lid on a vintage ranch  would be somewhat awkward to me.  I really like the lid bale on my modern ranch!
