I usually make burgers this way.
Prime rib burgers form Hy-Vee, (totally recommend) Hot and fast with a nice crust both sides, handful of shredded cheddar, grilled onions and some tomato and mayo, ketchup, light on the mustard and pickle. Buns are simple white sesame, toasted on the grill, I don't want a mouthful of bread getting in the way of my burger. Cooked to just a bit of pink still on the inside.
Brats and sweet potato fries for a side.
