Yes it was! The 22 in particular really shines with this method. Coals spread even, bottom vent wide open, and top vent half. Legs turned and rotated every ten minutes. Lid temp read a consistent 350 the whole cook. Olive oil and hogs n heat all purpose for seasoning.
