Friday Kettle?
« on: June 17, 2013, 02:52:53 PM »
One of my recent shopping sprees included a NIB Bar-B-Kettle. Interesting that the handle was crudely done: badly wood burned logo and completely unfinished. Must have been among the last kettles made on a Friday before a long holiday weekend.  ;) Nevertheless I consider it to be a small slice of Weber history, and should increase the value of this kettle by ten-fold. Maybe twenty if I mount it upside down.

I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

I also found it strange that they didn't rivet the dampers to the bowl.  They were in a separate package that included bolts, washers, and nuts.  Another cost saving measure for Weber's "basic" kettle I guess.
