What are these things worth? Saw one at a yard sale but was leary due to paint issues.

If they are in good shape or NIB I think it is a good pick up for around $100 or less.  If you are trying to flip you need it cheap.  The main issues people had with these was the red spray was light on the legs sockets and around the handle.  If I paid around $200 for one I would be mad too.  I grabbed one for $75 plus about $10 in gas.  I used the taller legs on my pizza kettle rig and plan on dropping the kettle in a cart.  I figure the parts alone are probably worth that especially if you are a taller guy or like the ash bucket.

If you are leery about buying because of defects then ask them to let you inspect the kettle. Some were better than others.

All depends, is it new or used?

I gave $99 for mine new when True Value had them. It was my first Weber. I had porcelain chip off on the lid but Weber sent me a new one.

Honestly I wish I would have bought a few at that price and just left them in the box the LE parts it has is worth $99 to imo.

For those that care, I did not get it. He want  $170.00 and I was on the fence. I have not seen any new ones being sold at my local big box, so I am guessing the limited supply has been depleted. Oh well I still have my 92 redhead SSP. Now that I have an idea I will keep my eye out for a lowball and hold on for a few years. Thanks.
