I need to get my tanks filled. Having a gasser is convenient for when its late and you need to get dinner going fast. Also cooks hotdogs perfectly lol

My wife doesn’t want to fool around with charcoal because she is impatient and just wants to get cooking. So this grill is really for her but you’re 100% correct in saying a gasser is great for its convenience and ease of use to get things cooked quickly. She loves the vintage style and color and the bonus is it was way cheaper than buying a new grill and I’m sure it cooks better than a new cheap grill. I only paid $40 for the grill and I had some gift cards to amazon laying around so my new parts were only $35 after I used the gift cards. Now, this thing should last another 20 years [emoji3]

Made a new handle out of mahogany today

Didn’t quite match color wise to the new slats after the boiled linseed oil was applied but it looks ok.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Thanks. Hardest part was cutting out the three slots. They’re not perfectly straight but I’m not Norm Abrams so it’ll do [emoji3]

Excellent work on the handle. You should consider making more to sell.

I’m a “shade tree” carpenter. I don’t have a wood shop to produce them but thanks for the compliment and suggestion [emoji3]

I think I still have enough scrap lumber laying around if you need one.

I could really make my own, I could use a template actually. But I'm not in a big hurry to fix up my gasser, need to get this ssp done

That hanging warming rack is underrated. The redhead looks great!. I just posted a 1993 Genesis 2000 Restoration project, almost identical. Great job!

I’m thinking about getting a rotisserie for the genesis. Is the 9890 the one I need for this old grill?
