I feel like a like button, for each comment, would really be nice. Or at least bring the thank you back. But I feel a like button would suffice.
That way you don't have to comment when it's something you dont need to comment on, but would like the poster to know you enjoyed their content.

Agreed, @Walchit.  I'd like to Like this comment... or perhaps Thank You for it.

We used to have a thank you button on each post.

It's currently disabled because it conflicts with another piece of code.

Per post voting will be back at some point this summer, it may expand to upvote/downvote

I miss seeing the neighbor kids jumping on their trampoline in your videos.  BTW, did you ever replace your wife's sanding block @Troy ?

I wish I understood code! I'm satisfied with the site. Just times when I don't feel like saying "nice" or "sweet" or when those comments have already been taken lol. I think some kind of like-ish type of thing would just let you know who enjoyed your content.

From my phone there is also a post button, for short comments, or I can hit reply, and it goes to another page where I can post longer comments. Sometimes I have to cut and past my message when I make it too long. I dont think thats a website issue, just user error

Like good bbq, it'll happen when it happens.
Right now there's a whole new forum wrapper in the works that will look good on both desktop and mobile. The thank you button works in that skin, but the rest of it isn't ready.

new forum wrapped project was forced to be scrapped (php compatibility issue)

two positives:
thank you button has easier path to return
forum should be a little faster today and from now on
