Red Weber kettle H

Hi, I have just joined the Weber kettle club as I have been really keen on Weber’s I just recently found a 1985 red Weber Kettle and am looking at re storing this to original as possible and wanting some advice on how I should go about the pull down of this the best way to clean the lid and bowl as to not leave any scratch marks. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome from Wisconsin.  Check out the kettle restoration guides on the opening page.  Also, Troy has a good vid on youtube about cleaning kettles.  Do a search for WKC there.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).
