Burner problem?
« on: April 11, 2019, 10:03:23 PM »
Hello guys,
I have an 5000 genesis model, i have some problem with firing up, sometimes it get 500 in 10 minutes, sometimes it need 30 minutes and get only 490/480. But the biggest problem is that the heat is not uniform, with all birners hight, only the back one get the grate very hot. If i put 3 piece of bread, the time that back one get burn, the one in front will not even get a good crust.
I havent changed grate/bars/tubes/manifold and, mayne moat important, i used not new gas tank, it was like 60% and now can be lower. What you suggest to change? Or it's normal that the heat is not uniform
Thank you in advice

Have you cleaned the burners. The usually works for me. Use a small wire brush. Up and Down motion on the front and back burners. And a north to south motion on the center burner
