First Sca comp
« on: April 09, 2019, 04:32:46 AM »
This past Friday I had the pleasure to cook with Killer Hogs and Swinelife at my first Sca event here in Memphis. The competition was stacked with some of the best steak cooks around .  My goal was not to finish last and I succeeded in that. My appearance and taste was high , but texture and doneness got me. Ended up finishing 28 out of 36. Learned a lot and had a blast doing it. It was surreal to be cooking with some of my bbq idols.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Steaks look wonderful! I miss doing comps... gettin' too old for it now... :-(
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
