Weber Rotisserie Spit Ring
« on: April 06, 2019, 09:42:16 PM »
Anyone by chance have a spare one of these just laying around looking for a home? Picked up a rotisserie spit that was missing one, was looking to complete it and start spinning some meats. If not, I’ll head over to Home Depot and find something to replace it with. Thanks!

Try a small eye bolt and a key ring. I have a few really small eye bolts you can play with.

Heck just email Weber and ask for one! I requested a new spit when mine broke and they sent me a complete new roti assembly! Ring, motor, and all!

No such luck for me. The motor on my 3 year old rotisserie abruptly quit and when i contacted weber to purchase a new motor, they wouldn't even want to sell just the motor. They wanted me to purchase the whole kit at full price.  Sucks when you see all these folks raving about weber's warranty/customer service.  Might also want to add that i have more than 20 grills registered with them and never filed  a single claim even for the brand new items that came with slight defects.

@Jules V. Call back and talk to a different representative. Some are better then others.

I found one missing the spit rod.  They do not sell individual parts for the rotisserie except the forks.  You could try the Only Fire brand motor.

Bump. Does anyone have an extra ring laying around doing nothing? Thanks!

If you can get a discounted  shipping  then it might be worthwhile. I have a spare that you can have.

I'm missing something... why do you need the ring at the end of the spit to rotisserie?  I use mine to hang the spit on the wall. Doesn't seem to do anything else to me.

I’d like it so I could mount the counterweight correctly.

Ah, got it.  Used the rotisserie on gas or charcoal for going on 10 years and never set up the counterweight.  Good luck in your search.

I’ve never understood that either. I fork my protein so it’s fairly centered and let ‘er rip. I wouldn’t know which position to put it at. So far so good. What dictates when you need to use the counter weight?
