Seems kinda clumsy, and useless 2me...???
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Can you imagine how annoying it would to crank the handle to lift the lid, instead of just picking it up in the first place?

Seems kinda clumsy, and useless 2me...???

You could probably still buy a wishing well & then just set the kettle in it.  I'd disconnect the lid from the crank when you are actually using it though.

Was it more of a suggestion of Weber of a creative idea you could do with a store bought or diy decorative well and a kettle on your own?

In case you are interested @varekai, there are some vintage 1960's plans available for a non-Weber wishing well grill.  https://us.letgo.com/en/i/vintage-wishing-well-barbecue-1967-american-home-construction-pattern_729af7f8-1a86-4e96-a3af-0886c7962a6d

For just a brief second, I thought I had stumbled across a listing Weber wishing well frill and that the first pic was the pamphlet that came with it.

Yeah, that's the impression I got.  Made soley for the "press release".  It even looks like it was basically just plopped into one of those decorative wood wishing wells you used to see here & there.
