My newest set of handles from Brian came yesterday. Thanks again, Brian!  8) I love the way these came out. These are cut like the 1981 wood handles in that they are single screw but shaped like the two rivet style. I wanted to give my red two tone a 1980s look and feel. Since I much prefer the twist ash pans to the later clipped ones....it works out well.

Here's my inspiration....

Here's the results............I should have wiped down the kettle before taking pics, but I got ahead of myself and started snapping photos.

All together again.

Those look great on your redhead!  Love the rivet style cut.  I just ordered a set of SS Performer handles and an ash bar from Brian... can't wait to see how she looks w/ the new hardware.

I just put a set from Brian on my blue SS this weekend. And finally installed a regulator using the disposable bottles. Both are amazing....

Great looking Red and those handles.... WOW!!!
Hey Sonny, did you know those disposable bottles are refillable? Makes it a lot cheaper to keep that performer running
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Thanks, Hogsy. I bought the adapeter to fill them somtime ago, now just to find it and dig out the gasser, may still have gas in the tank.

Those look great! Are they oak?

Did you reuse the screw or replace it?

Do they come finished like that from Brian or did you finish them yourself? What is used for the finish?

They are walnut.  Of course I sent a fresh stainless screw... who do you think I am.  We aren't putting old rusty screws on new handles..... Gheeze!

Just got my new Performer handle set (along w/ an ash catcher bar) in the mail from Brian today!  The walnut handles look and feel great... thanks, Brian!  Didn't have time to install the new ash catcher bar yet.  I'll be needing to get a couple of "The One, The Only" handles when (if?) they become available, and when it's in the budget.

Good - I won't have to buy screws then.
