Checking in from the Texas Gulf Coast.
« on: December 07, 2018, 07:25:28 PM »
I joined a while ago and mostly lurked. I'm here to say hello.

I have a Red Special Edition 22 inch Weber kettle. I also picked up a Vortex and a Slow n Sear as well. My other pits are a Large Big Green Egg, A Pit Barrel Cooker and a 22 inch Ole Smokey for the beach. I also have two Smokey Joe's. One or both may be converted into a smoker.

I remember my parents having a Weber kettle and arguing with my grandmother on how to make the hamburger. My thought process was this was cooked outdoors and she handled the indoor cooking. In her mind all cooking fell under her domain. Haha.

I look forward to some cooks. Here's one of the cooks I did earlier this year with the Vortex.

Welcome to the board! That's a heck of a collection. I'm running a 1990 22-inch and an offset.
