Aloha and Mahalo for the invite @Cellar2ful . I appreciate the invite Jim .
Lets see, I was first introduced to Weber in the 80s, good friend of mine would drag his Kettle to the beach anytime we bbq, I thought it was silly back then that he would load this big BBQ in the back of his Ford Ranchero and drag it the beach all the time.
I eventually "got it" and now I have the
18 Smokey Joe that goes to the beach with me all the time. (much more portable than his full size)
22 Kettle Performer
22 Smokey Mountain ( I actually just sold this one)
Weber Summit Charcoal - my go to for everything now (the reason a year later I sold my Smokey Mountain )
Weber Summit Gasser (lol - gets used to light the charcoal for my Summit charcoal)
My latest adventure is smoking with "coffee wood" , a strong, but sweet flavor.

Welcome from Seattle, formerly Kailua, Oahu. Hopefully i can move back to the islands soon...all grills in tow. Also, share us some of your local recipe.

My favorite, ribs marinated in Kona Brew Pipeline (coffee flavored) with a little Kona coffee rub, and smoked over some coffee tree wood !
